Product Manager

Zycko is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Product Manager to provide specialist product support on HP Sun and Servers, IBM, Server Memory Upgrade, Desk Top Saver to customers, resellers and sales team whilst adhering to company procedures at all times. The successful candidate will be self-confident, driven and able to build effective professional relationships with customers and resellers.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on the following responsibilities:

• Establish and manage relationship with all Server and Memory vendors
• Assist sales team with quotes
• Manage HP Sun & Servers, IBM, Server Memory Upgrade and Desk Top Saver solution opportunities with pre sales specialist, meeting deadlines, making relevant recommendations of additional software and services
• Client pre sales resource, register deals with vendor, work with pre-sales to check configs
• Effectively manage communication in sales process and implementation of product
• Building lasting effective relationships with resellers product sponsor, sales management and sales team
• Grow HP Sun and Servers, IBM, Server Memory Upgrade and Desk Top Saver channel for Zycko
• Accurate forecasting of revenue and gross profit
• Cross selling whole company product range where possible
• Stock Management, where applicable, building and maintaining "sales tools" and pricing details into Sharepoint
• Liaising and developing sales level training and market plans
• Responsible for loan, demo and part code management
• Maintain and update customer information on Siebel, our CRM system

The Person

The most important criteria include relevant technical support background, strong self motivation, a natural aptitude to setting and achieving targets, tenacity and first-class interpersonal skills.

• Channel experience in selling HP Sun and Server, IBM, Server Upgrade Memory and Desk Top Saver
• Technical knowledge in HP Sun and Server, IBM, Server Upgrade Memory and Desk Top Saver
• Experience of similar sales background
• Intermediate level Excel/Office/email is essential
• Knowledge of Siebel is preferred but not essential
• Ability to interact with people on both business and technical issues, and to build lasting effective professional relationships
