Asigra tool 'brings positive ROI'

Recovery management vendor Asigra has announced that its Storage Input/Output (I/O) and Data Validation Tool can ensure architected and optimally tuned storage servers are implemented by its clients.
The product provides an analysis which identifies which storage systems are optimised to work best with Asigra Televaulting and other I/O intensive applications to support a positive return on investment, the vendor claims.
Indeed, proactive backup infrastructure tuning can come from the ability of the tool to target backup and restores, as well as simulating loads from thousands of remote sites.
Eran Farajun, executive vice-president for Asigra, says: "The Storage I/O and Data Validation Tool is the first in a series of new tools we are bringing to the channel, allowing us to more closely align with our partners in meeting customer service level agreement requirements."
The vendor recently announced that its Televaulting product is certified to be used with the virtualisation software of Virtual Iron.
