COMMVAULT System Engineering Course

Objective

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for planning and design, installation, performance tuning and troubleshooting the CommVault Common Technology Engine (CTE).

Description

Practical examples and 'Hands-on' labs are used to reinforce the concepts in this course such as:

• Planning and designing a commcell
• Best practices for installation of software components and device configuration
• Tools for problem analysis and performance tuning
• Successful troubleshooting methodologies

While the most recent available version of the software is used in class, the presented concepts and best practices are applicable to all supported versions.

Audience

Experienced CommVault Backup and Archive administrators or engineers who would like to improve their skills in planning, implementing and supporting a CommVault data management environment.

Pre-requisites

Attendees must have attended the CommVault System Administration course.
